Det giver en anderledes bev\u00e6gelsesm\u00f8nster. <\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">I den verden, jeg har v\u00e6ret en del af, kalder vi det en bev\u00e6gelses\u00f8konom \u2014 det betyder, at man g\u00e5r s\u00e5 lidt som muligt, men man er altid p\u00e5 hjul. H\u00e6modialyse er et fantastisk sted at v\u00e6re. <\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Men jeg var lidt skeptisk, da jeg blev opfordret til at cykle under &#8220;K\u00f8ge til K\u00f6ln&#8221; dialysecykelkampagnen.<\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Under dialyse oplevede jeg ofte blodtryksfald og den ubehag, der f\u00f8lger med det.<\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">St\u00e6dig som jeg var \u2014 og klog som en 75-\u00e5rig \u2014 n\u00e6gtede jeg at cykle under dialyse.<\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Sygeplejerske Karin opfordrede mig til bare at pr\u00f8ve \u2014 bare en lille smule. Kun 2 km. Men det virkede forf\u00e6rdeligt langt. Jeg n\u00e6gtede stadig. Alligevel var Karin mere st\u00e6dig end jeg var.    <\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">S\u00e5 jeg cyklede de 2 km.<\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Til min overraskelse var det ikke s\u00e5 forf\u00e6rdeligt, som jeg havde forventet. Fra da af gjorde jeg, som Karin sagde, og cyklede de 2 km. Freden var genoprettet i lejren. Mens jeg cyklede, oplevede jeg ikke noget blodtryksfald.   <\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>P\u00e5 et tidspunkt sparkede mit machogen ind, og jeg cyklede 16 km under dialyse.<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Mine ben gjorde meget ondt. F\u00f8rst var jeg irriteret over smerten \u2014 men fornuften sejrede, og jeg fortsatte. Fra da af var det ren succes.  <\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Mine dialysesessioner gik bedre og bedre, efterh\u00e5nden som jeg cyklede l\u00e6ngere og l\u00e6ngere. S\u00e5 l\u00e6nge jeg cyklede, oplevede jeg ikke blodtryksfald.  <\/strong><\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Men det var ikke den eneste fordel \u2014 mit hum\u00f8r blev betydeligt bedre, og min generelle livskvalitet steg. Gradvist udviklede tingene sig st\u00f8t. Jeg byggede flere og flere kilometer op i mine ben.  <\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">P\u00e5 et tidspunkt n\u00e5ede jeg 20\u201325 km per dialyse. Mine ben gjorde stadig ondt, men \u00f8mmheden forsvandt hurtigere hver gang. <\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Min generelle kondition blev bedre.<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Jeg elsker god musik \u2014 det hj\u00e6lper mig med at finde en rytme at tr\u00e6de til. Det g\u00f8r det sjovt. Til sidst n\u00e5ede jeg omkring 30 km, og s\u00e5 blev det til en sport. Jeg skulle sl\u00e5 min rekord, selvom vi ikke var helt sikre p\u00e5, hvor langt jeg faktisk havde cyklet.   <\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Mit benchmark var 36 km \u2014 opn\u00e5et med en behagelig smerte i mine ben.<\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Den nye rekord skulle brydes. S\u00e5 ramte jeg 41 km \u2014 og endda 43 km, som er min nuv\u00e6rende rekord. <\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Men den mest interessante del er ikke min rekord \u2014 det er den gl\u00e6de, som cykling under dialyse giver mig.<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Man kan altid g\u00e5 hjem og have ondt bagefter. Jeg er ikke bare blevet fysisk st\u00e6rkere \u2014 jeg er ogs\u00e5 blevet mentalt st\u00e6rkere. Jeg er mere optimistisk omkring min livssituation som dialysepatient.  <\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Cykling under dialyse har gjort mig mere bev\u00e6gelsesorienteret uden for dialyse ogs\u00e5. F\u00f8r var jeg en bev\u00e6gelses\u00f8konom \u2014 nu er jeg bev\u00e6gelsesbevidst.  <\/strong><\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Jeg ville gerne cykle l\u00e6ngere, men da vi alle dialysepatienter deler \u00e9n cykel, var der en gr\u00e6nse for, hvor langt jeg kunne komme. S\u00e5 holdt vi familier\u00e5d derhjemme. Vi besluttede, at jeg skulle have min egen dialysecykel \u2014 en som andre dialysepatienter ogs\u00e5 kunne bruge.  <\/p><p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Dette blev sat i gang. Nu kan vi alle nyde, at flere af os dialysepatienter kan cykle under vores behandlinger.
