French health minister François Braun visits ASA dialyse
BedBike was seen utilized by the French Minister of Health and Prevention, Francois Braun.
François Braun, the French Minister of Health and Prevention, recently paid a visit to the Association Saint-André (ASA), a dialysis centre in Talange, France. A ministerial tour focused on “Sport and Health,” with the objective of elevating “prevention” as a crucial pillar of health policy.
ASA was given the opportunity to speak about its innovative Adapted Physical Activity (APA) programmes for dialysis patients. François Braun closely monitored a patient utilising an innovative BedBike – developed and produced by Lemco Mobility in Elsinore, Denmark.

Perfect for dialysis patients
Dialysis patients at ASA have been using our BedBike for the last two years. Dialysis treatment is typically 3-4 times a week for four hours at a time. Patients who use BedBike during dialysis report less cramps, better blood circulation, stronger legs and more energy in between sessions.
The purpose of Lemco Mobility is to increase mobility. Patients also benefit from exercise with BedBike in terms of improved wellbeing and quality of life.
We appreciate the help from ASA’s Chef de Service Biomédical & Technique, biomedical engineer Cédric Daré, in planning the visit and providing the BedBike demonstration.
